When I set out on this beautiful journey 2 weeks ago to feature local businesses right here in the four corners area, I received lots of nominations and tips. One business in particular stood out from the rest overwhelmingly. I had plenty of people who shared and tagged a local auto glass business by the name of hoodoo Glass- in fact I even received several messages too! I was amazed and had to check them out. Upon one visit to their shop at 1210 N Hutton Ave Ste C in Farmington I was able to discover exactly why: The level of caring customer service they provide is unlike anything I've ever seen! The gracious ‘dream team of owners’ Jerrett Guillory, Owen Blake and Sean Dodson invited me in and Sean explained to me what they do- They provide incredible quality glass and Installation for every type of vehicle ranging from large to small, from your average passenger vehicles to large commercial vehicles and equipment, to off road vehicles and even beautifully restored classic cars. Lots of other companies provide these services but what hoodoo Glass does is take it to the next level to provide the customer with reassurance of quality of work and convenience too! Sean Dodson says that “It means a lot to us that customers are willing to trust us with their babies- whether that be their daily driver or a classic car that they've put their heart and soul into.”

The thing that really puts hoodoo Glass into a class of their own was the fact that they try their best to create convenience for the customers without compromising their quality of work. They offer mobile service as well as pick up and drop off service of vehicles- free of charge for busy professionals and people without a ton of time to handle their glass needs. They also are fully insured to drive customer’s vehicles to re-calibrate the fancy ADAS camera systems that many newer vehicles have today. This means that you won't have trouble with your lane assist systems etc. after your glass is done. They answer questions to customers and are so wonderfully informative that I actually learned so much about an industry that I was completely clueless about prior to meeting with them. Sean Dodson took a brief phone call from a customer during our interview and although the customer was asking about residential glass, something hoodoo doesn't exactly do, Sean was able to point the person in the right direction of who to call in order to have their issue handled. That to me is the ultimate form of customer service in general- Even If you can't help that particular person you still did, by going above and beyond for them. That speaks volumes about the character of a business owner. When you call hoodoo Glass to ask about a quote or inquire about repairing or replacing something, the person who answers the phone is more than likely a person who is experienced in doing the actual work. This means that you will get as accurate information as possible and therefore, you won't be wasting your time. I called another local business once to order a windshield for my personal vehicle and found it frustrating because the person I was talking to did not seem to know what kind of windshield I needed and also didn't seem to ask me the right questions so that I would be confident in their service. You absolutely wont get that here. The decades of experience between these 3 incredible owners means you will get someone who knows what questions to ask and knows what they're doing when it comes to installation too!

My last and most important takeaway from my visit with hoodoo Glass is this: If something doesn't turn out correctly they will 100% do whatever they can to make it right. I was perusing their facebook and saw a post about a customer in Pagosa Springs, Colorado who had top molding on the windshield that did not adhere correctly. Instead of inconveniencing the customer, hoodoo made the roughly 4 hour round trip drive to go replace it for the customer- NOW THATS SERVICE!! Sean says: “While I've had times where things didn’t go right, what keeps that customer coming back is that they know we are not just going to try to do it right but also try to do it better.” Judging from the comments and messages nominating hoodoo Glass for one of my featured articles it's SO easy to see why- Their excellent customer service and overall business ethics sets them apart, above and beyond any of their competitors. I feel so lucky to have had the chance to see what they're doing so right- truly the best people in this industry!
